LNG Bunkering - Why are precise procedures important?

The team at Cryosafe have been contracted to write LNG bunkering procedures from the very 1st LNGBV. The challenge of the operation is that it involves 2 x sets of crew and 2 x sets of equipment that needs to be operated safely as one seamless process. The bunker procedures we create are:

  • One set of interactive procedures that covers all actions by the LNGBV & LNG receiving vessel in chronological order

  • Equipment specific

  • Step-by-step - covering every action, button, measurement that both vessels needs to take

  • Have been through an exhaustive HAZID/HAZOP process

  • Compliant to standards, class rules and national regulations that are relevant

  • Have all our experience, troubleshooting and knowledge included

  • Are backed up by our support services that can support the crews remotely (through training) or on vessel
