Cryosafe sign Memorandum of Understanding with Clyde Training Solutions

Cryosafe and Clyde Training Solutions have entered into an MOU for the creation of a Training Partnership, specifically focused on the LNG sector.

CryoSafe specialise in the training of personnel involved in ship-to-ship & bunkering operations for LNG, LPG, and Ammonia vessels, and it is hoped that by combining with the training expertise offered by CTS, with particular focus on the development of Virtual Reality solutions, will allow both companies to develop future LNG training courses to better suit the needs of the sector.

Commenting on the agreement, CTS General Manager Kris McDonald stated: “This relationship perfectly combines the ethos of CTS in providing Competency beyond Compliance for delegates, and the experience of CryoSafe within LNG and FSRU , to allow us to develop training solutions for our client base in this rapidly expanding market.”

Echoing these thoughts, CryoSafe LNG Operations and Assurance Manager Donnie MacDonald commented: “In CTS we recognised a training partner who match our own high standards in training delegates, who work with a range of companies already operating in the LNG sector, and who can help us to deliver value added training courses in addition to the existing portfolio, both through their training centre in Glasgow, but also through bespoke Virtual Reality simulations.”
