The potential risk and consequences of unexpected mooring line failure can be mitigated by running a Breakaway Scenario in Optimoor.

Breakaway Scenarios:

When running a Breakaway Scenario, one of the lines is intentionally broken to simulate a case when a mooring line unexpectedly fails. This allows us to see the potential impact of mooring line failures, extreme environmental conditions, and/or cases of equipment malfunction.
